Description:
The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) represents the merger of the Universität Karlsruhe and the Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe. Under the roof of the Steinbuch Centre for Computing, SCC,the research activities are focused on HPC, Simulation Labs, Grid & Cloud Computing and Large Scale Data Management and Analysis. The SCC is involved in various projects (e.g. LHC, EGEE, g-Eclipse, EUFORIA, D-Grid) It is engaged in the Open CirrusTM, the HP/Intel/Yahoo! Open Cloud Computing Research Testbed.
